The English pack follows the DEFRA standard requirements for Commercial Day Care.   For businesses in Scotland and Wales, I am happy to help write a customised pack that meets the requirements of your local council. 

The 14 templates have been created in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, and are fully amendable.

 

PROCEDURE MANUAL TEMPLATE: 

This is around 150 questions that make you think about your business from the perspective of the new guidance and helps you to make a statement about every subject that DEFRA have a view on.  It is structured into a handbook format and has subjects logically grouped together, so it can also be used as the basis for staff training.  Lots of the answers are written in the DEFRA guidance itself, so you just need to tick off the guidance as you go.  The Procedure Manual is a great tool for someone to follow if (heaven forbid) something happens and someone else needs to take over running your business for a while, and it should be written with this in mind.

SERVICE AGREEMENT TEMPLATE:  

The document contains rules and client policies for you to tweak or amend to suit your business.  This covers many of the mandatory consents.  The instructions on how to make ‘find’ and ‘replace’ quick updates on the agreement are on our Facebook page.

What isn’t in the pack:

The floor plan of your premises.  I can draw these for an additional fee if you want to send through a rough drawing with measurements, but most people have already had to draw this in order to request planning permission for change of use to a premises.

 

Your CV of relevant experience, list of training completed or method of proving your knowledge and experience.  I am happy to look this over once created, and give pointers if it needs padding out.

Absolutely!  

Note: You must have access to Microsoft Word or Microsoft 365 to make the required changes to your templates.  Documents can also be amended in Google Docs with some additional adjustments to the table formats. Alternatively, I can make the changes for you and send you PDF copies of your finished documents instead.
