Website Design and Set Up

Support is offered at £17 per hour (pro-rated)

If you would like a website for your business but don't know where to begin, feel free to contact me. My aim is to help you to select a suitable website host platform and to set up your website in the first instance. It can be as simple or as complex as you wish. If you would like some help in periodic maintenance of your site, I can offer that too.

Your website can be designed around your existing logo and colour scheme, or you can take this opportunity to start afresh with a new logo and style. There are many logo design companies in the UK, but take a look at Canva first and play around for free, it might give you an idea of what appeals to you in a logo.

My preference for design and hosting is working in Wix, but I can work with others such as Go Daddy, 123 Reg and Ionos. If you are not technology minded, Wix is the easiest to learn about for when I hand your finished website back to you.

Please note that the company hosting your website will charge an annual fee, and you will also pay annually to lease your domain name (your website address on the internet). Have a chat with me about these costs to make sure that you understand them before you begin.

Social media is a great way to develop relationships with customers and to find new business. I can connect your social media accounts to your website, help you to write posts and give you ideas that will keep your social media accounts fresh and active.

Some businesses gain almost all of their work from social media, and if this is your business model we can help you to give a professional feel to your social media presence, working to separate your personal profiles from your business profiles.

I also offer ongoing support for your social media accounts after set up, as an after service.

Your social media accounts can be connected to your website. Below is my Waggy Days 4 Dogs feed from Instagram. It automatically updates on this web page when I make a new post on Facebook, as they are all connected!
